Purpose of the Role: 

Squad Lead, will provide Leadership for 2-3 Squads (teams) within Product Engineering. The position often entails coordinating and collaborating with different Tribes & other product units within Financial Services to deliver a seamlessly integrated solution to our customers. The successful candidate must have deep product development experience, with excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to facilitate complex issue resolution across multiple products and business groups. The individual must possess strong Coaching, listening, communications and analytical skills, be a problem solver with excellent judgment and strong initiative.

 

 

How You’ll Contribute

 

·       Understand the general principles of Agile as outlined in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and be fully aligned to those principles

·       Uphold the framework and integrity of scrum practices

·       Mentor and coach the teams on Agile methodology and Scrum values and process

·       Facilitate PI (Program Increment) and sprint planning processes, as well as all other scrum events, and empower team commitment to PI and sprint delivery

·       Participate in longer term roadmap planning

·       Manage monthly capitalization processes and change management processes

·       Monitor and track PI milestones, and facilitate mitigation of issues and risks

·       Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve problems and remove impediments/barriers for the team; escalate to the Tribe Lead / Product Manager as needed

·       Ensure that release deliverables are submitted and that quality standards defined by the team are consistently met (per acceptance criteria and definition of done)

·       Prepare and present Sprint & PI Reports.

·       Monitor the effectiveness of scrum team processes and performance, and collaborate with the team on changes and improvements

 

What You’ll Bring

 

·       At-least 10 years of total working experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with and coaching scrum teams.

·       Development Experience in Java Stack.

·       A strong track record of leading multiple, independent cross-functional projects simultaneously or as one cohesive program.

·       Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects

·       Certification(s) in Agile methodologies (PMI-ACP, CSM, CSP, SA, SASM or equivalent) preferred

·       Strong facilitation and collaboration skills

·       Strong understanding of and demonstrated experience in using Agile Tools like: Jira/Confluence or Agile Central

·       Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven, e-commerce culture and environment.

·       Very good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

                                 - EBA Rule Book Changes.

                                 - SWIFT, SEPA, TARGET2, RTGS & Instant / Real Time Payment

                                 - BACS, CHAPS, EQUENS, SIC, ESIC will be good to have

- Cash Management                                                               

         - Customer, Accounting and Financial data management

         - Liquidity Management

                                 - Virtual Account Management

         - Cash/Notional Pooling (domestic/cross border)
