Roles and Responsibility

 

 

Position Title (Global):HCM Functional Analyst

 

1.         KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide techno-functional support for the improvement and maintenance of Oracle Cloud HCM modules – Fusion or cloud product (Base HR, Absence management, Learning) and other interfacing systems

Have a strong understanding of the system configuration and set ups

Analyse the impact of configuration changes on all upstream and downstream applications

Leverage the business analysis and industry expertise to conduct process analysis, change impact assessment and capture business requirements to perform fit - gap analysis

Perform or review impact assessment of Oracle’s quarterly release notes and resolve issues

Provide support in testing of all new releases and patches to identify functional and business impacts

Collaborate with project stakeholders and analyse all products through appropriate methods

Provide specialised technical advice on the implementation of new projects and the integration or impacts to existing systems

Provide support with key HCM functionality (security workflows, enterprise structures, workforce structures, HDL, OBI etc.)

Build or develop OTBI or BIP reports

Work with functional service desk and support analysts to assist in troubleshooting and keeping system up to date

Review test scenarios, scripts and use cases with consideration to cross functional and process stream impact

Execute test scenarios in various test environments and pick up minor config change requests

Work closely with users during user acceptance testing phase

Coordinate work efforts with the service desk for application changes, production issues, and system performance issues

Provide support in application rollout or implementation projects

Participate actively in maintaining various system documents - Solution design, Functional Specifications, Configuration Documents, Test Scripts, Training materials etc.

 

2.         KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

Qualifications:

Degree related to Computer Science, IT or HR

Relevant Knowledge and Experience:

Minimum 6+ years in system analyst role

Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM modules (cloud knowledge is a must, ebs knowledge is an added advantage) and hire to retire cycle

Demonstrated involvement in module roll outs and enhancements of Oracle HCM cloud

Strong experience with BI publisher is desired, but not essential

Skilled problem-solver and detail oriented. Ability to identify technical risks, present solutions to non-technical personnel and influence technical decisions

Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Flexibility to coordinate and support activities beyond regular working hours

Experience in project based and/or engineering industry a plus
