Jr. Data Scientist
Job Description:
• Understand the business problem, challenge of existing technologies and areas of application for AI technologies.
• Experience in Machine Learning, supervised and unsupervised: - Forecasting,
Classification, Regression, Text Mining, NLP, Decision Trees, Adaptive Decision Algorithms,
Random Forest, Search Algorithms, Gradient algorithms etc
• Exposure to Neural Networks/Deep Learning Algorithms
• Good understanding of basic statical techniques QC tools, ANOVA, Hypothesis, Chi Square tests
• Experience in creating simple web pages using HTML/ASP.Net
• Strong in programming languages like Python, analytical packages/libraries like Pandas, Scikit-learn, Seaborn, matplotlib, numpy etc)
• Identify and choose the right AI or cognitive computing technologies for solving problems and formulate AI recipes for development.
• Develop required machine learning models or prototype applications applying formulated AI recipes and verify the problem/solution fit.
• Using innovative ideas to collect, curate or synthesize data
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or TensorFlow)
• Very good knowledge on SQL-Joins, indexing, rank vs. dense rank, row number , stored procs, triggers, views, functions etc
• Optimize the solution for accuracy and performance
• Experience creating and deploying ML models
• Experience developing models in AI cloud platforms and services (Google cloud/AWS/ Azure) is desirable
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage their own work.
• Demonstrated history of successful ML projects
Experience:
2 to 4 years of relevant experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor's / master’s in data science with 2 years’ experience OR in Statistics/Mathematics with minimum 3 relevant years of experience
