Job Description"Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Optional ServiceNow certification, such as Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist.

Proven experience in ServiceNow development and customization.

Strong understanding of IT service management and service delivery processes.

Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Knowledge of web services, REST, SOAP, and other integration methods.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

 

The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions within the ServiceNow platform to support business processes and enhance service management. This role involves customizing and configuring the ServiceNow platform to meet the organization's specific needs.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Solution Design:

 

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design solutions within the ServiceNow platform.

Create detailed technical design specifications.

Development and Configuration:

 

Customize and configure the ServiceNow platform to implement solutions, including creating and modifying forms, workflows, and business rules.

Develop and maintain scripts, integrations, and APIs to extend platform functionality.

Service Management:

 

Implement IT service management (ITSM), service catalog, incident management, change management, and other service-related modules.

Automation:

 

Develop and maintain automation workflows using ServiceNow Orchestration, Workflow, and Flow Designer.

Integration:

 

Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications using REST, SOAP, and other protocols.

Build and manage integrations with third-party tools and platforms.

Custom Applications:

 

Create custom applications, modules, and portal experiences within the ServiceNow platform.

Security and Compliance:

 

Implement security controls, access management, and compliance measures within ServiceNow.

Ensure data privacy and security in the platform.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

 

Conduct testing, debugging, and quality assurance of developed solutions.

Resolve defects and issues as they arise.

Documentation:

 

Create and maintain documentation of configurations, customizations, and best practices."
