Roles and Responsibility

symplr is looking for an experienced Automation Quality Engineer to join the Enterprise Analytics team. The potential candidate must have proven expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing.

 

This role will be assigned to symplr’s Enterprise Analytics team and will report to the Quality Manager.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

         Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API using WebDriverIO with TypeScript and ReadyAPI with Groovy.

         Perform detailed manual testing of applications to identify defects and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

         Develop and execute test cases and strategies for both manual and automated testing to meet project requirements.

         Identify, document, and report defects or issues in the applications and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

         Create and manage test data sets to simulate various scenarios.

         Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous delivery and seamless deployment processes.

         Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, and product owners to understand testing requirements and ensure quality.

 

 

Qualifications Required:

 

 

         5-8 years’ proven experience as a Quality Engineer

         Experience with testing tools like WebDriverIO, Cucumber, Postman, ReadyAPI

         Experience with languages like Typescript, Groovy, Java etc.

         Good experience testing the API/webservices (REST, SOAP etc.) with Postman.

         Experience with test management tools like Azure DevOps, Zephyr etc.

         Experience working in Agile - Scrum/Kanban

         Experience working with GitHub for version control.

         Knowledge of AWS (S3, Athena, DynamoDB, Kubernetes, Secret manager).

         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

         Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

         Continuous learning mindset and willingness to adapt to new technologies and techniques.

         Excellent problem-solving skills
