Job Title: Tester (Offshore)

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating software applications and systems to ensure they meet quality standards and user requirements. You will play a key role in identifying bugs, validating functionality, and improving the overall software development that spans origination, underwriting, booking, document prep, and CRM processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, nCino workflows, and commercial banking processes. AgLending a Plus, but not required.
Reports to: Test COE Manager
Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Planning and Design:
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases across Salesforce and nCino along with other downstream applications based on requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and objectives.
- Identify test scenarios and design test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of functionalities.
- Perform integration testing with external systems including document management, core banking, and third-party credit systems.
- Develop and maintain traceability matrices to ensure all requirements are covered by test cases.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives (Agile environments)
2.Test Execution:
- Execute manual test cases and report defects using bug tracking tools.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not affected by new changes.
- Validate fixes and perform retesting of resolved issues.
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify unexpected behaviors and edge cases.
- Perform integration testing to ensure different components of the application work together seamlessly.
3.Defect Management:
- Log defects with detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce.
- Track and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
4.Documentation and Reporting:
- Document test results, including pass/fail status, defect details, and test coverage.
- Maintain test documentation and ensure it is up-to-date and accessible.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manual testing.
• Ability to validate data integrity and accuracy during by writing and executing SQL queries to compare source and target datasets, ensuring successful data transformations, migrations, and integrations.
• Minimum 1 years of experience with Salesforce testing (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or custom objects), preferred
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience testing nCino platform modules (preferably commercial lending), preferred
• Familiarity with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
• Proficiency in using test management and bug tracking tools, similar to ADO.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience testing data migration or data transformation between legacy systems and Salesforce/nCino.
• Knowledge of banking or financial services, particularly lending workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
